Logistieke dienstverlener stapt in data science van Bright Cape en faciliteert groeikapitaal
Baerbergh Holding (groot aandeelhouder van onder andere Nunner en Caroz) investeert in AI, Data Science en Robotica. Na een recente investering van de groep in Informore, bundelen de investeerders nu hun krachten met de aandeelhouders van Bright Cape (GGD Investments, YouKnights en Beniers Inc). Bright Cape heeft een ambitieus groeiplan om haar data science competenties verder uit te bouwen en de toegevoegde waarde daarvan bij klanten aan te tonen op basis van data gedreven procesoptimalisatie.
Baerbergh Holding en de bestaande aandeelhouders van Bright Cape, verzorgen samen het verdere groeikapitaal.
“We hebben met Bright Cape een groeiambitie, zowel met multinationals als met bedrijven in het MKB”, zegt Bram van den Heuvel, “daarvoor willen we meer en betere mensen kunnen inzetten”.
Bright Cape wil de groei ook gestalte geven via samenwerkingen. Met het netwerk van de logistieke dienstverlener heeft het zowel een financiële partner als een partij om inhoudelijk de krachten mee te bundelen en het klantenveld verder uit te bouwen.
YouKnights heeft bijgedragen aan de juridische en financiële structurering van de samenwerking met deze strategische investeerder.

Logistics service provider steps into data science from Bright Cape and facilitates growth capital
Baerbergh Holding (major shareholder of Nunner and Caroz, among others) is investing in AI, Data Science and Robotics. Following the group’s recent investment in Informore, the investors are now joining forces with Bright Cape’s stakeholders (GGD Investments, YouKnights and Beniers Inc). Bright Cape has an ambitious growth plan to further build its data science competencies and demonstrate its added value to customers based on data driven process optimization.
Baerbergh Holding and Bright Cape’s existing shareholders are jointly providing further growth capital.
“We have a growth ambition with Bright Cape, both with multinationals and companies in the SME sector,” says Bram van den Heuvel, “to do so, we want to be able to employ more and better people.”
Bright Cape also wants to structure its growth through collaborations. With the network of the logistics service provider, it has both a financial partner and a party to join forces with in terms of content and to further expand its customer base.
